Update!

Right. I have neglected this blog for a for weeks now and have been busy on the project since my last blogging. i just just come back home and its about 10PM! just finished rendering all of the scenes taking up about... from the top of my head..... 10 computers for a one or two hour rendering job. It could of taken longer if we used mental ray OR ray tracing BUT we used the default Maya software rendering and depth map for the shadows.

I have to admit its been (quite) stressful for the last few weeks and have been staying in the college till its very very late PLUS the security guard chucked us out too! Now all we have to do is post production! editing, effects, cutting, sound..... well that should go much smoother. Credits and the end credits are already done by Daryl. looking pretty good. cant wait for this to be done!

Update!

Well now I have put all the rocks together in one scene to see how it looks. So far it needs some mountains...

Haven't done a render cos the rocks seem to camouflage against the floor. So I need to spend time to texture it

Progress update!

Ok. This is pretty much the building for our diner. still work in progress. just need windows, doors and signs. I will be the main modeller and simon will help me out with some furniture in the diner. Lots to do so little time. Right now il need to look into modeling landscapes.
